Founded in 1998, Brian Clark + Associates quickly became a regionally recognized and awarded landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm. Focused on growth, and as they were establishing offices outside of Iowa, the partners realized they needed a name and a brand that could represent the company into the future—a name that transcended the founder and spoke to the strength of the group and what they make of the firm together. Measure's approach was a strategic process consisting of interviews, audits and creative development exercises. We renamed the firm, Confluence, the place where energy, momentum and depth converge—the junction of people and their environment. Confluence brings everything together, naturally.
